Hi, I’m Bobby.
As a therapist based in New York City, my journey into psychotherapy is as personal as it is professional. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Human Development, which ground my practice in a strong academic foundation. Beyond that, I’ve walked my own path through depression, anxiety, and substance use—experiences that inform my work and help me deeply understand the struggles many of my clients face.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as a professional theater actor in NYC, an experience that shaped my ability to empathize, connect, and honor the stories people bring to therapy. In our work together, I blend creativity, compassion, and, yes, some humor to tackle challenges like self-esteem, identity, grief, depression, anxiety, loneliness, and relationship dynamics. I draw on evidence-based practices while creating a space that feels affirming, collaborative, and open to exploring your unique journey toward growth and healing.
As a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am committed to fostering an inclusive, affirming environment where all individuals feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
Let’s work together to transform challenges into opportunities for growth, empowering you to step into your full potential.
